🎯 Eligibility

• Age Limit (as on 20/08/2025):

  • 15 – 24 years

  • Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC – 3 yrs, PwBD – 10 yrs, Ex-Servicemen – as per rules

• Educational Qualification:

  • 10th Pass with minimum 50% marks (no rounding off)

  • ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT certified)

  • Candidates awaiting results not eligible

• PwBD Eligibility:

  • Minimum 40% disability

  • Trade-wise restrictions apply (e.g., Electrician – partial lower limb allowed, Welder – some finger/leg disability acceptable, etc.)

📝 Selection Process

1. Merit List based on 10th % + ITI % average

2. Trade-wise, Division/Unit-wise, Category-wise list

3. Document Verification (DV)

4. Final merit equal to available slots

5. Tie-breaker: Older age > Earlier Matriculation

💰 Application Fees

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹141 (₹100 Fee + ₹41 Processing)

• SC/ST/Women/PwBD: ₹41 (Processing only)

• 10th Marksheet & Certificate

• ITI Marksheet & Certificate

• Caste/EWS/PwBD Certificate (if applicable)

📌 Other Key Points

• Training Period & Stipend: As per Apprentices Act, 1961

• No Job Guarantee: Training does not guarantee Railway job

• No Hostel Facility: Candidates to arrange accommodation themselves

• Medical Fitness: Govt. Doctor certificate required (Annexure F)

• Graduates/Diploma holders: Not eligible
